High Schools send teams of 10-13 students to these regionally held seminars. These teams identify issues that are relevant in their schools, and design kindness projects to address them. Kindness Core Seminars are designed to empower student leaders to vision, learn team building strategies, and action planning.
These seminars bring students together from several different schools. The teens invariably discover that although they come from diverse backgrounds, they all face similar issues, have similar concerns, and share similar values. The students share experiences and success stories with their peers from other schools. The teams of students not only come away with ideas and plans to improve the culture in their schools, but they benefit from the interaction with teens from all over Northeast Ohio. Three or four Kindness Core Seminars are scheduled in October.
Kindness Core Seminars can also be scheduled for youth organizations through out Northeast Ohio. It is best utilized when several youth groups send representatives so that they may benefit from the experiences of other groups.
