COMING NOVEMBER 2016
STAY TUNED FOR ALL DETAILS
Kickoff For Kindness is a rally style event that motivates students to create the "rules of the game" for their schools, incorporating what they have learned from guest speakers. It is designed to motivate middle and high school students to initiate kindness projects to positively impact the culture of their schools, and to inspire them to treat each other with respect and kindness. Over 2,000 students from all over Northeast Ohio attend the event. In addition to creating their "rules of the game," students will determine what they would like their school to stand for.
What are the rules of the game for creating a culture of kindness in school? What do students want their school to stand for? We invite you to send your students to be inspired, get motivated, and feel unified in making kindness, caring and respect a priority at school. That's what Project Love's® annual fall rally, Kickoff for Kindness: The Rules of the Game, is all about.
Held in November each year, Kickoff for Kindness is a great way to begin the school year with a focus on building a culture of kindness, caring, and mutual respect for all high school students. Students from schools all over Northeast Ohio attend this half-day program. Each participating school may bring up to a busload of student leaders.
The students hear from major athletes, sports personalities, educators and motivational speakers about communicating with kindness and getting involved in their community. After each speaker, the students create their own "rules of the game", to take back to their schools, impacting thousands of students throughout Northeast Ohio. It is designed to motivate middle and high school students to initiate kindness projects to positively impact the culture of their schools, and to inspire them to treat each other with respect and kindness.
As one parent observer quipped, "Kickoff is a rah-rah, pump kids up, go back and do good things kind of event!"
